Dragonbot

The Dragonbot is nearly four feet long with an omnidirectional articulating tail and eight working motors. Involves CAD, laser cutting, 3D printing, servo motor programming, woodworking, soldering/electronics, and more!

Here is the “journey video“ showing the process of building the robot from start to finish

I designed and built this robot from scratch as part of the Robotics Studio class in my sophomore year of college. It was one of the most difficult but rewarding projects I have ever worked on! I set a makerspace record for the most 3D print filament used and utilized virtually every type of fabrication technique available.
